About Telehealth

Effective September 30, 2026

Telehealth means getting medical care from a licensed clinician using secure online tools, such as questionnaires, messaging, and phone or video, instead of an office visit. Here's how it works at AlrightMeds and what to know before you start.

You'll give formal consent at the start of your visit. The treating practice will ask you to review and accept its telehealth informed consent before a clinician reviews your information. This page is a plain-language overview, not that consent.

How a visit works

Benefits

Care from home, on your schedule, with no travel or waiting room, and ongoing follow-up by message.

Limits and risks

Prescriptions

Prescribing is always up to the clinician's medical judgment. Completing a visit or paying for a membership doesn't guarantee a prescription. Some medications, including testosterone, are controlled substances with additional federal and state rules that may require extra steps, such as lab results or a follow-up visit.

Not for emergencies

If you think you're having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Your rights

You can decline or stop telehealth care at any time and seek care in person instead. You can request copies of your medical records from the treating practice.

Where care is available

Clinicians only treat patients located in states where they're licensed. We'll confirm availability when you start a visit.
